The Brookhaven Experiment is a horror-themed first-person VR shooter. In it, you must fend off waves of zombie-like monsters. You hold a PS Move controller in each hand; one represents your character's gun, while the other can be a melee weapon, a flashlight or one of a number of secondary weapons. It's reminiscent of games like the House of the Dead series, but with a few VR-specific twists.

Success earns you money, which you can use to upgrade your weapons, buy more ammunition, and improve your health. The game includes both a narrative campaign mode and a survival mode in which you have to withstand ever-increasing waves of enemies. The monster designs are gruesomely impressive and the virtual reality experience contributes to the horror theme, making the attacking monsters more frightening.
